$10 tickets to see TheatreEast's EYE OF GOD!

Backstage says about TheatreEast, "They're worth knowing!" and we agree! Their new production "Eye of God" is only $10 a ticket for Tex in the City friends.

EYE OF GOD
In Kingfisher, Oklahoma, an innocent young woman meets a strong man of faith. Where is the line between moral and fanatical? A love story between the lonely, the troubled, the forgotten and the radical believer who can save them.

TIM BLAKE NELSON, award winning playwright and celebrated actor of the stage and screen (upcoming "Leaves of Grass", "Minority Report", "O Brother, Where Art Thou?") crafts a play that asks the question, "What are the limits of faith?"

Oscar Night Oh What a Night!

My annual Academy Awards viewing party was better than ever. This year's RSVPs totaled 450 with about 250 in attendance. My Tex in the City pal Scott Ramsey helped co-host the night (Christian was traveling this year) and designed some really lovely centerpieces. Each table had different movie posters and celebrity images illuminated with candles. Cool, huh?

Special thanks to Brian Donnelly & Katie LaStoria for helping tally ballots and trivia. Thanks to everyone who came out and made the night a ton of fun and huge success. Until next year, happy movie watching.
