JEANIE RUNION just really loves to sing. After growing up in Garland, Texas (where she is reported to have spent much of her childhood making up little songs while playing with Matchbox cars in the backyard), she moved to Austin, Texas to attend the University of Texas where she studied Radio, Television & Film and was involved in band & pop choir. Much to her parents chagrin, she left school one semester shy of graduating to take a job with children’s recording artist Joe Scruggs. Her performance credits in Austin ranged from theatre (Jingle Singer / Snowbird in "The Buddy Holly Story" & "The Texas Follies" in Waco, Texas) to live concerts (Joe Scruggs concerts across the United States & casual/wedding band performances at private parties) to studio recordings (Disney follow-up books & tapes, as well as local artists & various local commercials). Craving change & wanting to experience life outside of Texas at least once in her life, Jeanie moved to New York in February of 2000 and currently works at JP Morgan Chase & Company as a Senior Executive Assistant. She still just really loves to sing & is grateful to Tex in the City for providing a musical venue where she can kick up her heels & have some fun! Now she won’t have to sit on her stoop playing with Matchbox cars so much.

AMANDA SHY is a native Texan who made the trek from Austin to NYC five years ago with a BFA in Theatre under her belt. She began a career in Voice Overs a couple years ago, thanks to Access Talent, which has made her as happy as a possum on a gum bush. Amanda is proud to once again share the stage with some of Texas' finest. Although she hangs her hat in the Big Apple, part of her heart will always reside in Austin . . . but only part of it, the rest is in the hands of a man from West Virginia. Yeehaw!

DARIUS FROWNER has been a musical director and pianist in the NYC area for 10 years. He has worked on theater projects which have been performed nationally as well as in Europe. His most recent work includes Harlem Song at the Apollo Theatre and appearing with Joan Rivers at several benefit performances. Other credits include A Chorus Line, Once On This Island, and multiple productions of Ain't Misbehavin. You can also hear Darius playing at The Duplex in Greenwich Village every Monday and Thursday night, where guest stars from the NY theater scene often drop by. Darius is happy to be working again with all of these Texans and excited to find the show becoming so popular. It must be all that Texas oil money. Have a great time!

CHRISTIAN THOMPSON is a recent resident of New York City having just moved from Los Angeles. In LA, Christian played with a number of accomplished jazz musicians and bands including Tom Kubis and Steve Allen's Big Band. Though well versed in a variety of musical genres including Jazz, R&B, Country, and Rock (as is evident in Country vs. Rock n' Roll ), Christian has a special passion for Jazz. He is currently working in New York as a musician for hire. "Have guitar. Will Travel!
