Tex in the City creates projects that bring people together with a special focus on theater, comedy and music and aim to bring our Texas hospitality to all our networking, social and artistic events. You don't have to be from the South to appreciate the friendly welcome and to have a down home good time with us.

We also promote Texans doing great things in NYC and beyond, so if you are or know a Texan up to something cool, let us know.

In 2002, Texan transplants who had been best friends in Ft. Worth reunited as strangers in New York City. They came away from that reunion with a plan and a vision for the future: to promote and create projects that bring people together with a special focus on theater, comedy and music.

Past projects include an annual Oscar party, a quarterly charity event co-prodcued with The Onion, The Big Podcast of 2006 featuring four-time Emmy winner Chris Regan, a private book launch for Texas Governor Ann Richards, and the 4: Your Consideration Art Series which consisted of four events which highlight an artist or work of art at an early stage of development.

Ideas, viewpoints and people are brought together through art. Tex in the City invites you to be a part of it.

Tex in the City is proudly owned and operated by Kambri Crews with co-production by Scott Ramsey & Kevin Farr.
